Pre and Postnatal Physio & Exercise

During and after pregnancy, practicing Pilates is a safe way to look after your body to ensure you are strong and supple.

Pregnancy Pilates/Physio Exercise

If you are experiencing pain in your back, pelvis, hips, neck and/or ribs, our qualified physiotherapists and pilates instructors tailor exercises in the studio to help you reduce your symptoms. They can prescribe you a home program so you feel more in control as your body changes during pregnancy.

Whilst you are pregnant, we recommend our small group Pilates Studio Sessions where exercises are tailored to your particular stage of pregnancy and exercise ability. These classes use Pilates studio equipment – Reformer, Trapeze Table, Wunda Chair and Ladder Barrel. (Pilates mat classes are not suitable for you during pregnancy).

Pilates Studio Classes

face to face ONLY

60 minute sessions | Qualified Pilates instructors will guide you through sessions that work your whole body utilising a range of equipment from Trapeze Table, Reformer, Wunda chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector along with other small apparatus and the mat.

Post delivery its time to start looking after yourself mentally and physically.

Postnatal Pilates

Pilates studio or mat sessions can help you improve muscle tone, improve your mobility, and strengthen your pelvic floor and core.

An initial assessment is needed before joining any class to ensure we have assessed your pelvic floor and core with our real-time ultrasound machine. This ensures that we understand the capabilities of your body, whatever stage you are at, and that you are safe with the basic exercises.
